Arizona Trail Angels List

Trail Angels are volunteers who are available along the Arizona Trail to help with shuttles, lodging, showers and laundry. Below is a list from south to north. Want to join the list? Register here.

Note:  The people on this list are not representing the Arizona Trail Association in any way. The Trail Angel list is provided as a community service in an effort to connect long-distance trail users with individuals who offer their personal amenities and services as a gesture of goodwill. The Arizona Trail Association does not endorse any of these individuals, nor has the association interviewed, screened or assessed any Trail Angels for any of the services they claim to offer. The ATA disclaims any liability for any and all negative encounters that may result from interactions between Trail Angels and trail users. All individuals are encouraged to use good judgement, and to report any questionable behavior to the ATA and/or local law enforcement.

SERVICES:  Shuttles, Shower and Laundry, Accommodations, Caching Water
COMMENTS:  We are the local Winery in Pine, and are avid hikers. If anyone coming thru Pine would like to bring a cache, mail one, or use our facilities, we'd be glad to help. As we are just over 1/2 way on the trail, it might be nice to have a safe place to have re-stocking supplies. If we know when you are coming we have shower facilities, water, and pretty much anything you might need. We look forward to meeting fellow outdoors people.

Tim Varner -

SERVICES:  Shuttles, Shower and Laundry, Accommodations
COMMENTS:  We live in Flagstaff conveniently near the trail and shopping in town and we love to host hikers! You are welcome to contact us on short notice and stay multiple nights to make sure you are fully rested before hitting the trail. We have the standard things hikers will want including a shower, laundry, wifi, and cable TV. We are happy to pick up from the trail and shuttle to town services. We often provide meals as well, all free of charge. And we live very close to the general delivery on Postal Blvd.

Scott & Beth -

SERVICES:  Shower and Laundry, Accommodations
COMMENTS:  We're not a hostel or full-time trail angeling outfit like you might've run into on the PCT or AT, but we can give you a free place to stay, wifi, showers, laundry, kitchen access, maybe a meal or two depending on what we have around. If we have time, we might be able to help with some short rides in town, but there's also good bus service in Flagstaff, and the bus stop is a block down the street.
We're asking hikers to get in touch with us a week or so before you get to Flagstaff (Pine is probably your best bet) and give us an ETA. Please don't show up unannounced. Also, we can't host dogs due to allergies.
