Kearny

The Copper Corridor extends from Oracle to Superior. It has a unique copper mining history and culture as well as abundant scenic and natural attractions such as the San Pedro and Gila Rivers, and numerous mountain ranges.

The town of Kearny is the largest of the Copper Corridor Communities in the region, and was named after mid 1800’s frontier General Stephen Kearny. The town is at the base of the Pinal Mountains and was established in 1954 to accommodate nearby mine operations.
